I've started a new photography project for my final exam and it involves much more photoshop than I've used in quite some time but it should be cool when it's finished! Above are some portraits of both my sister and me, as I felt like experimenting with portraiture and natural light more and I loved the outcomes. Portraiture is something I really want to do more over the next year.
In other news, my gap year plans are coming together with inter railing booked for the summer and also I've reserved some accommodation in Banff in late October to go and see the Banff Mountain film festival. I saw it in Bath during the world tour last week and was so inspired I just had to visit the thing for real and of course Banff and Jasper National Parks will offer some decent photographic opportunities... :D
As well as this I think I have found my charity of choice which I will hopefully volunteer for in Spring of 2018. It's called African Impact and they do various projects across the continent but hopefully I will be based in South Africa and work on a game reserve helping with animal conservation and research. As well as this I will get the opportunity to work with a photographer and produce images for local and international NGO's to help advertise issues with wildlife along with local communities!
